Leaving the home of Rick Shlacta and his son Steven now at 8am. He opened his he to 6 of us, fed us, hosted a fundraiser for the holland Area Arts Council, even played bass with us a bit. People like Rock are a rare breed- to be so open and sharing of everything they have. We thank you Rick, foraking this part of the trip work. We,re going to get a good breakfast and ride on to GH, about 30iles, a lot of it pretty farm roads. Bye for now...

so a friend told me you were doing this and I couldn't believe it. Great job and what a bike/trailer. Hope to see you at Top of the Park next Sunday. And yes the people one meets on the road gives us hope!
